Lithology and Thickness

Upper Rudeis Mbr: Greenish gray to brownish shales and marls; marked by limestone buildups which locally contain corals at the shoreline, pelagic micritic limestones deposited on basement and in basement fractures. Lower Rudeis Mbr: Greenish gray to brownish shales and marls; shallow, more calcareous, sandy sediments, high sand content.
